   Alright check this out. Ive been listnin to 3-6 since 1993 thats when their music hit chicago. I stopped listnin to them in 2002 i noticed how much better my life was without listnin to that shit. Looking back now there was signs they really “hypnotize” your mind. chapter 2 the intro verse clearly says “cut the wings off an angel on both sides” koopsta kniccas solo cd “da devils playground”. Im born and raised in chicago which is one of the worst places to live. Im 26 and have done so much wrong shit man that in my case when i stopped listnin to them and only them alot changed for me, my outlook and the shit I was doin. Of course imma stil drink n shit but all the gang shit and gettin high on shit was over when i cut them off. I look back at how I looked at life when the only cd’s i had we from 3-6 and all the solo albums they released i had it all now I see why I went to the joint cuz i aint give a fuck. And I agree with a few people on here

   crunkvally, thats the reason it’s sad that young people are being “hypnotized” because they are similar to what u just said… you have to bump them because they sound good and their music is addicting, your being somewhat “hypnotized” in that sense.     Yes, you are correct about the symbolism or the subliminal lyric. I’m glad you actually listen to these songs, which carry messages. At least you are not blind and you listen/pay attention to lyrics and not just bump whatever sound like these other people on here that continously post that three 6 mafia are innocent little flowers.

    However, you are wrong about Nas being a freemason or supporting the illuminati. In the lyrics you provided, he clearly is telling you to be weary of “the man with the one eye”.

    E.M.T….ICP is all about god. They talk about it in quite a few of their songs. I don’t even really like em that much, but don’t go running your mouth when you obviously have no clue what you’re talking about. In one of their songs, they even backmask(backmasking is when a message is intentionally reversed and put into a song) a message about being for God in one of their songs.

    Also, anyone saying music “hypnotizes” you and makes you do bad things is just sad…People do things that are in their nature. If you honestly do something because “music made you do it” you either have a non-existent will power or are just making excuses so you can hope someone will forgive you. You probably didn’t see it because he shows it so fast that 1 second is to long YouTube the video and stop it inbetween 3:51 and 5:52. That figure is the figure of Basphet who is a demon. His wife Beyonce is possessed. She’s two people. Sasha Fierce and Beyonce. Sasha Fierce is not just a stage name, because if it was Beyonce wouldn’t have said that when she performs she blacks out, and is shocked at what she does on stage. She even went as far to saying she doesn’t like Sasha Fierce and if she met her she wouldn’t associate with her. That’s some extreme identity issues, and clear way showing she’s not the one in control of her a lot of time.     Oh and I do understand about not blaming all of your faults on music or outside sources but it has been proven that subliminal message plays an effect on your mind. If that wasn’t the case then they wouldn’t have made the movie theater stop putting them in their movies.     These artist don’t care about us they care about money, and that’s why a lot of them sold their souls for it, and they way they pay their debt is by drawing us away from God and more into drugs, sex b4 marriage, fights, gangs, hate, etc through their music, and the sad thing is we all are falling into it.

    I just came across this thread and I haven’t read through all of the comments, so I am not sure if anyone has thrown this out there, but I just wanted to say that there ARE other rap artists out there who rap about positive things. I used to be a huge fan of 3-6, among other commercialized, mainstream rappers, until one day I stopped to listen, and I mean LISTEN to what they are really saying. A lot of them are rapping about darkness and evil. Some are more blatant about it, like 3-6, but some of them are more discreet and I truly believe their lyrics are “hypnotizing” young minds who don’t even realize what they are doing. So, with that said, any of you Christians who want to listen to some decent rap music that has a positive message but still bumps, check out Pro, Trip Lee, and Lecrae, among others. YT it, and a bunch of sick ones will come up. Some are just alright, but some are pretty sick. Pro is one of my faves. Peace & Love… <3

If you are just *LISTENING* to the music, then you will be fine. The key is to NOT take in this music..keep it on the tip of your tongue..not in your brain. *UNDERSTAND* that this is music, and you aren’t going to be effected by this because YOU are in control of your life.     Just because someone questions a God doesn’t mean they worship Satan.
    Plenty of music has pentagrams and other stuff people relate to “Satan”, and some of them are Christains. A golden rule of thumb is “The more Extreme the music is, the less seriously you should take it.” Just view it as entertainment and nothing else. I seriously doubt they work for some magical evil force presented through popular mythology.

It’s used because it gets a certain fanbase. I love three 6 mafia and although I’m not the most devout person religiously, I am a catholic and do believe in my faith. Yes, they use the satan worshipping as an image and a gimmick but that’s not where the original meaning of the name came from. They were originally called something else (I don’t remember the original name) , but the group only consisted of DJ Paul, Juicy J, and Lord Infamous. Then there was the addition of Koopsta Knicca, Crunchy Black, and Gangsta Boo. The original group consisted of 3 members, the final lineup was 6. The name refers to the original 3 and the final 6 members of the “Mafia” hence the “Three 6 Mafia.”. Also in interviews Juicy J has answered questions about it stating that his father was a minister and he would have gotten his ass beat if he was really worshipping the devil. Point is they’re regular people who chose to have that image. Do you really think Snoop Dogg is killing people and getting bitches in his 40s with a wife and children? No, but he’s still making music about it. Do you really think eminem raped his own mother? No, and I pray not but he most definitely said those exact words in his music. It’s music. There’s music that has deep meaning and can really captivate a persons thoughts and move them, and then there’s music just made to listen to because it sounds good.

How many times have you heard the saying “Get that song out of my head” or “Great, now that song is going to be stuck in my head”. I mean come on, it’s plain as day. Hidden messages in songs, secret cult affiliations. This world is ran by satin (politics, seperation of church and state, why not the universal language of music). Think people and free your minds!!! I’ve heard stories of people that had their foot in the door of the music industry, and stepped back to decline as they learned a bit of what was involved.     First off people that don’t believe in heaven or hell will have a true awakening! I was approached by a secret society who told me spirits summoned me. Didn’t believe it showed up to this house in dallas where I was invited to (doctors, politicians,ceo’s, pro athletes, and people who were nobodys like me all together 30 people or more. I was told never to speak of it and did a blood oath. I prayed to spirits that were fallen angels and lucifer was there (the group called them old ones) I pricked my hand and wrote on paper while people were around me black and red candles burn throughout the building. I signed my name in my own blood and vowed to listen and follow these spirits who told me my job was to decieve mankind (I grew up a catholic by the way) after making a pact with lucifer and his angels I burned the paper I signed with my own blood and completed my first ritual. 5 days later I’m in the same room some familiar faces and this time there were huge mirrors where we faced them and summoned spirits (lucifer and his angels) I followed their instructions and became very successful in foreign trades ( I work for a chinese-american company buying and selling chinese goods in america) literally in 3 weeks of listening to these people and doing rituals I was enlightened and closed some of the biggest deals my company has ever seen one month later the ceo of the company was on my front doorstep and said pack my bags I was flown to hong kong on a private 747 from dfw airport to hong kong airport where I was offered 1.6 million dollars to oversee trans-continental purchases (1.6 million a year salary from my 65,000 dollar previous income with no college degree only a few lessons on speaking chinese is all I had) I traveled the world and everything was perfect I owned 3 homes one in dallas 1 in hong kong and 1 in vancouver (I changed my life and quit going to these occult societies) instantly my wife left me with both kids I was fired from my job and was sued by 3 companies all within 2 months I asked god to show me answwers and to remove the deal I made with these spirits god wants life and lucifer wants death I was terrified to leave the group because I literrally sold my soul through series of rituals, blood rituals, sacrificing sheep,(real live sheep), and praying to these entities, I was told by the spirits I would die for going against them.
