   Alright check this out. Ive been listnin to 3-6 since 1993 thats when their music hit chicago. I stopped listnin to them in 2002 i noticed how much better my life was without listnin to that shit. Looking back now there was signs they really “hypnotize” your mind. chapter 2 the intro verse clearly says “cut the wings off an angel on both sides” koopsta kniccas solo cd “da devils playground”. Im born and raised in chicago which is one of the worst places to live. Im 26 and have done so much wrong shit man that in my case when i stopped listnin to them and only them alot changed for me, my outlook and the shit I was doin. Of course imma stil drink n shit but all the gang shit and gettin high on shit was over when i cut them off. I look back at how I looked at life when the only cd’s i had we from 3-6 and all the solo albums they released i had it all now I see why I went to the joint cuz i aint give a fuck. And I agree with a few people on here
   Imma make one more point look at it like you bangnin in the streets. lets say you was a GD back in the day 10 yrs ago even and you was doing dirt but now you say “im not in a gang no more” now when these other gangs see you they dont see you as nothin they see you as what you were to them “GD”. so you cant rap about satan to get yourself in the game then say “we aint like that nomore” that shit aint ok.

   yeah, i tried 2 stop listening to them 2 bcuz they do have me not givin a fuck. im 32 now and i still have 2 bump them. their music is to bumpin not to. i still put god first so i think i’ll be alright. 3-6 4 life.

   crunkvally, thats the reason it’s sad that young people are being “hypnotized” because they are similar to what u just said… you have to bump them because they sound good and their music is addicting, your being somewhat “hypnotized” in that sense. Their lyrics are not putting God first, if anything it’s going against him. People are just oblivious to that because their beats are “so sick” that they can’t stop listening to it, therefore supporting them.

   Its tru dey beats r addictiv n das y most ov da tym u dnt even realise wot dey r sayn till u actually stop enjoyin it n start listening proprly.. I use2 bump dey shit a lot in hyskol n daim i was on a mad crime spree n i wud even play dey shit on ma head fones even wen i was runnin from da po-po till i realized on dat song “i gotta stay fly” dat da chik in da bakround singin wuz actually sayin: ‘lucifer, his my king, his my god’ n dat shit freakd me out man coz man i coz came up a humble kid but after bumpin dey sh*t i found ma self runnin up on n1ggaz witta knife n pikin fyts n shit… but im 20 now n ima lot smrtr wiv wot i listn2 n watch… n i even developd a sense of decoding subliminal hits or images from da get go.

    You’ve got it half right/half wrong

    Yes, you are correct about the symbolism or the subliminal lyric. I’m glad you actually listen to these songs, which carry messages. At least you are not blind and you listen/pay attention to lyrics and not just bump whatever sound like these other people on here that continously post that three 6 mafia are innocent little flowers.

    However, you are wrong about Nas being a freemason or supporting the illuminati. In the lyrics you provided, he clearly is telling you to be weary of “the man with the one eye”.

    The keyword here is ‘Weary’ or ‘be weary’

    Overall, keep being you. You are doing things correctly by listening to songs instead of “just loving the beats”.
