Ok all of you Jesus freaks, if you have a problem with the fact that Triple 6 Mafia used to make many songs with Satanic references in them, what are you doing on here? I been listening to 3 6 mafia every since I was knee high (around 5 or 6 yrs old) and I’m 22 yrs old now…and their lyrics has never made me think or do any kind of evil or violent acts…1st of all I knew better…so that kind of behavior comes from poor parenting…not rap music. I have never been in trouble with the law, made good grades in school, and is kind and respectful to all ppl . Three six is just another rap group, and their lyrics ain’t no worse than these other rappers..so…there u have it…and oh yeah…back in da day when they 1st came out, some of their lyrics mentioned stuff about Hell and demons. but not worshipping them. That was just a way of setting them apart and getting known.

I think it’s quite obvious that 3-6 used to praise the devil, although when they started obtaining national recognition they chose to lay off the blatant satanic material because of the negative image and scrutiny which would follow. 3-6 has even stated that they are trying to reach a “mainstream audience” (reason behind the name ‘Most Known Unknown”) which is one of the reasons their music is becoming less oriented with satanic material, although don’t be deceived, they are still serving the same entity which they used to praise so conspicuously, now in a more cleverly disguised way – using flashy references of wealth and dominance to seduce the average joe.

if someone haves to pretend to be Satanists just to get attention shouldnt consider themselves as Christians at all because they have denied Christ and blasphemed against God. Lord Imfamous is the founder of Three 6 Mafia so i think the meaning is more than just the number of the people the group started with, and if they found their Christian faith by noew they should change their name. they used the word “Prophet” (which could be in reference to False Prophet) in the same albums that includes da tracks that refers to Satan, so just because they are apart of the Prophet Entertainment doesnt mean a thing. so now that they are famous, they dont need to refer to Satan in their lyrics because they now have the attention they need. so now they make songs about God, but i think its all a fake.

I know some may not care for what I think, but since everyone else gets to write something, I will too. I believe that Three 6 Mafia DID worship satan at some point in their career. I think that it could have been some of them and not all of them, just as much as all of them could have been in it. In Mystic Stylez, there is a line that clearly says “satan worshiper” and there are other references to things like that in other songs of theirs, as everyone decided to point out.
Whether they did it to become famous is not the point, the point is that they did it. Yes, it is possible that they converted to Christianity and all, but who’s to know for certain besides them and God? Seriously. We’re not sitting in their rooms at night checking to see if they’re praying (or who they’re praying to), so none of us can truly be certain about that. All I know is that even if someone expresses thanks to God or utters something to Jesus, it does not automatically make them a Christian. When famous people win awards, 99% of the people thank God. Many rappers talk about God and the cross and Jesus, but it does not make them Christians. Also, we can’t give into what people say when they are interviewed when they talk about what they did or didn’t do, because they could be lying. President Clinton said he didn’t do it when they asked about Monica Lewinsky and the weed, but we all found out he was lying…
As a Christian, I do not believe that it is my job to judge them and I don’t think anyone else should either. That’s God’s job. And NO, I’m NOT saying that He sits in heaven waiting for people to go there so He can yell at them and shoot them down into eternal burning flames. That’s not Him at all, and I apologize for everyone who makes Him look that way.
We’ve all sinned. We’ve all made mistakes. So it’s time for some people to get off their high horse and stop acting like they’re perfect. The only perfect one is God…
And yes, I know that for some here it may be easy to hate God or not believe in God because of everything that happens in the world. If I lied and said that I knew the answer to why everything happens, I’d be nowhere. One thing I do know is this: even though I could sit here and blame God for things that happen (which I HAVE done before), it is better for me to find peace in Him. So if you don’t care about God, that’s fine…but it won’t stop Him from caring about you. If and when you’re ready, He’s there for you. No matter how much you hate Him or don’t believe in Him.
But back to the subject…they’re grown adults and they should know what they’re doing by now. Whether or not they still do it, we should pray for them and everyone else (and ourselves) and just hope for the best.

Something I forgot to add earlier was that even in the Bible, satan quoted scripture. This is not to say that they still worship him, but that’s just something to take into account. So, quoting scripture does not make anyone a Christian, believing it in your heart DOES. And since we can’t see into anyone’s heart, once again, we have to let the One who CAN, do it. We are in no place to judge, we just see what is in front of us, not everything.

Wow, I never thought I’d see the day that so many people defended satan. My question is what would it take for you to believe something is satanic? The bible does not say that we have no way of knowing what’s right and wrong! If that was the case then why would anyone be held accountable for anything because who’s to say it’s wrong? Three Six Mafia and Bone Thugz N Harmony are my favorite rap groups, it’s sad that Junebone would try to put me on one side. Three Six Mafia NEVER sold their souls to the devil, not in one song have they said that, Bone Thugz said that in a song but then they said in the song that ‘they went to the devil cuz they wanted it back’. They aren’t satanic, both have rapped about Jesus and God in quite a few songs throughout their careers. Lots of rappers make references to 666 and Satan in their raps. Pay close attention to alot of rappers in the East Coast, Detroit and even in West Coast (Example: Watch Yukmouth’s ‘Gameova’ aka Breathe video and you’ll see one scene where it shows a sign saying ‘666′). You can’t just blame two rap groups on such a harsh and closeminded accusation when most of rap is doing the same thing. The reason why they do it is because the masses of people don’t want to hear ‘Oh I worship Jesus so I’m a real Gangsta!” when someone hears something like “I represent 666 and the dark lord” it gives them a thrill that makes them want more. Perhaps it’s bad for people to use this but it happens with many rappers using it to make money, your boys, three six mafia and bone thugz N Harmony don’t do it no more. If you don’t like Satanic shit, then stay FAR, far away from rap music and death metal or whatever bullshit white rockers listen too and stick to faggot country or pop-rock/pop-rap aka. Well for one.. like I said.. you have to pay close attention to what the hip hop artist are saying. For one.. Hip Hop already gives negative images. Well, if they did worship satan they are probably deceptive considering he is called the father of all liars. So if they accepted Christ truly… Then WHy have they not changed… No repentence… Artists change, at the very least their name over much less.(And that is not even considering when their name glorifies the devil.) I am not judging anyone, or being a fruit inspector here, but, they are not Christians, I do not think they would call themselves Christians… Or would they?

Well no one said that they have accepted christ. But just by comparing the music they make now 2 the music they made when they were underground shows that they gave that devil shit all up. They were young anyway and they most likely grew up and grew out of that shit.
