   Not that I’m sticking up for the dude.. but they had been going at it all match. And a few minutes before the headbutt the Italian guy grabbed the French guy and held him from behind.
   French guy shoulda had more class and better sportsmanship.. but this is such a passionate game and he was pissed off.

   However, even after being held, he just yelled a little. After having his nipple pinched, he yelled a little more. Then after the dude yelled back, he walked away. A couple seconds pass… then… he turned around and headbutted the dude.

   That’s pre-meditated! Zidane actually thought, “Okay, how should I react? Hmmm. I think I’ll headbutt him in the chest. Here goes!”

    I couldn’t believe the guy did that… the last time he would ever have a chance to be on top at that level of play and he loses it. I saw it happen live, and my brother came to the conclusion that he just didn’t want to be in on a shoot out. I tend to agree with him. He must have REALLY wanted out of the game to pull that shit. Of course the Italian player saw it coming and made it look as bad as possible… but that’s beside the point.

    I thought you might like this. As for the act, although genius lets just not forget that Zidane has/had a reputation.
    If I remember well he has had more red cards than Eric Cantona had in his whole career, this being number 12.
    Not bad for a number 10 I guess. Many ‘hard’ defensers never got that many in their career.
