Normal Age for a First Kiss

I should probably apologize to The Churning Loyalists for my lack of updates. But I’m not going to. Momo and I just moved into our new house on Friday and we don’t have Internet access yet. God damn, I’m a whiny excuse-making piece of shit.
I’ll make it up to you all later, but for now I’ll keep you busy with my second entry in the “Am I Normal?” category. Today’s topic: What’s the normal age for a person to have their first kiss? How old were you? (Yes I realize this is sugary and innocent. We’ll address some dirtier shit another time.)

I’ll start things off…
I was 14. At the time, it seemed like I was pretty old to have a first kiss. Looking back on it, I was really just a kid. A shy pussy skater emo kid with girly-looking long blond hair. No wonder it took me so long to snag a smooch.
Kiss on the lips– I was 6… We played “the Last Unicorn” and if he caught me [ and he was the Red Bull] he got to kiss me.
Kiss with tongues– I was 11. We were at a field trip to the swimming pool. We got caught by our teacher and were sent home for the day.
Shit. This makes me look bad, doesnt it? Golly. Im not playing the ‘first time doing it’ question.
Can I ask the audience please. Erm, waitamin… you just already did.
I started late, must have been 6 already I think, but being Belgian I take pride of country’s honours and choose them always younger and younger. *ducks away*
juicya, great way to get a day off, never thought of doing it in front of my teacher, I mean kissing of course.
Hmm, I think I was 13 or 14. Felt like I was the last kid left on Earth that hadn’t kissed. The boy smelled like Doritos & I didn’t really like him anyway, but we had a week of “going out” which involved holding hands in the hallways when nobody was around. Erg. Flashbacks, awkward flashbacks!
Girls don’t like me.
My real first ‘peck’ was when I was about 5 or 6 and of course we didn’t even know what we were doing. We were just immitating adults.
My first real kiss with tongues and all was about 11 or 12. A little early I guess, but its not like I kept the streak alive. It was another few years before my next one… wow, I actually sound lame when I re-read this.

My first peck: I was four, and it was with a classmate behind a bookshelf.
My first kiss with tongue: I was nineteen and I was attacked by a guy at a music festival.
My first real kiss with tongue: When I was twenty.
I was 15, just shy of my 16th birthday. He was in his 20s. Kinda icky right?

Hmmm. First Frenchy kiss (of the non-head-butt variety) was during the summer between 7th and 8th grade. Quick goat thinking reveals that I was 13.
Regular kiss: 10.
French kiss: 12.
aside from creepy Pre-K lip locking, i first tasted someone else’s tongue around the age of 11. I was at summer camp and we stayed behind when everyone else went to the raquetball courts.
his name was jarrod and he had blonde, curly hair. he tasted like hot summer mouth and hot tamales, which i believe has led to my aversion to cinnamon to this day.
12 years old playing Spin La Bottella but my first kiss that rocked my world was at 16.
sad…i don’t remember my first kiss, but i think my first french kiss was when i was 9.
First peck was Angela Barrett in kindergarten. We were in the library sitting in alphabetical order. I told Eric Angulo to lean forward.
First tounge was Tiffany Ferris in 6th grade, on the playground, after school.
First kiss I remember really counting was Tara Phillips my sophomore year. She was student council president.
BTW, sorry I missed you in Philly this weekend, the Lips were phenomenal. I look forward to seeing the new digs.

My first kiss was the summer between 5th and 6th grade. I’m too lazy to figure out how old I was, but I’ll tell you the story.
I went to Philly to visit my sister and apparantly all the kids there had not only french kissed, but they’d had their boobies touched too!! I had not done either, but really didn’t want anyone touching my boobies OR sticking their tongue down my throat. My friends brother was pressuring me to make out with him and I finally agreed. So he took me by the hand, led me down an alley and practically swallowed my entire head and slobbered all over my shirt. I needed a bib. I didn’t kiss another boy until 8th grade. And NO he wasn’t allowed to touch my boobies. I was affraid he might rip them clear off my chest.
Well if we’re just talking real kiss with tongues then I’ll have to say 14 with a girl and 15 with a boy.

French kiss? At 12.

I was 11 and this older kid on my street grabbed me one night when we were playing after school (I think he was 12) and mouth-raped me.

I was so traumatized that I didn’t let another guy kiss me again till I was 16, a sophomore in high school, and ended up making out with a senior behind the sets in the auditorium during rehearsal for some musical we were both in. He was hot, tasted like beer and cigarettes, and was an amazing kisser. Total bad boy. To this day, I can’t kiss a man who smokes without thinking of it.
I was moving away and one of my good friends came over and we were talking about how she had to move soon also. well, in the middle of words, it just came about. and we kissed.

Me and my (female) friend wanted to know what would happen if we put our tongues together so we stuck them out and touched them at the end. I was 4. Does that count?
First kiss on the lips: with a snotty little boy when i was 5. We played kiss chase and he caught me and kissed me with a big line of snot down his lips. I cried and ran away.
First real kiss: 15. I was at a gig. Everyone always got a kiss at a gig and this guy grabbed me and i was too embarassed to say no until he’d finished.

15 months later I was living with another woman I eventually married and later divorced. Remember that part in Ferris Buhler’s Day Off where he said his friend would fall for the first bitch that came along and have his heart broken? (I’m paraphrasing.) That was so true in my case.
I’m 20 and still waiting. I’m trying not to feel bad about it or think about it, but it’s hard seeing most of my friends in relationships and I don’t even know what it’s like to hold a girl’s hand or peck her on the lips.
