Normal Age for a First Kiss

Time for my second entry in the "Am I Normal?" category.Â Today's topic:Â What's the normal age for a person to have their first kiss?Â How old were you?Â (Yes I realize this is sugary and innocent.Â We'll address some dirtier shitÂ another time.)

I had my first kiss at 9/10 (honestly, I forgot over time ) it was my next door neighbor and it was so awkward.
I had my first makeout when I was 14, and when I was 15 I had a bf who wanted to have sex, but I just knew it wouldn’t be right. best choice ever. I did it when I was 18, with my current boyfriend, and we are responsible and safe. but a relationship seriously doesn’t base itself off of kissing & sex. its a part of it, but you guys are like 11. go have a sleepover or draw or play video games or something. go learn a skill or read, and become mature enough to realize that the girls who are now kissing tons of guys at 11, and fooling around, are usually boring, lame, whiny girls who get knocked up at 17 and then have nothing going for them. really.

Jane-I have the same problem! i really want a bf, and everyone says im pretty. i had a bf last year, when i was 11. on the last day of school, we went to the back yard and we were ready for a french, but both of us just couldnt do it. now we arent 2gether anymore, and i like this guy from my school, i really do. the thing is that he is in another class. he is also a 7th grader like me, but im in 1Y, and he is in 1B. i didnt like him be4, but after i saw him in a party, he was with a guy in my class, so he introduced us. we talked, and he seemed cool. it was crystal clear he liked me. everyone said it! but time passed, and i tried to get close to him in many different ways-no response! i guess guys only like girls who act stupid and even if they are dirt-ugly, pretending to be funny and silly, and same like all the others. well, those kinds of girls (90% of the girls in my school)accept anybody’s request to date, just to be able to say they have a bf…i just cant take it anymore!! grrr! i totally regret the fact that i hadnt kissed that guy! oh, i wish i could run time backwards! i really NEED a bf! is it normal to be 12 and not had a french(make out) yet?( i had a peck when i was 10 or 11.)

I’m almost 15. I havnt kissed anyone yet although I finally feel ready to. I would strongly recommend waiting until your ready. Ive had 2 gfs and havnt kissed either of them cause we were all frigit. Your normal if you get kissed around 16 to 18 years old

luke~ i think 16 -18 is a little later then most people when they get there first kiss because most people rush into it when there not ready or too young. Just make your first kiss something special <3

Uhm.. I’m 14. And all I haven’t had my first kiss. Therre has been so many guys that want me to kiss them, but I always tell them no. It’s out of habbit. All yall 11 and 12 year olds who are havin sex, i have nothing to say about that. Thats to disturbing to know that yall know what sex is. When I was 11 and 12 i was to busy playing games, sports, drawing. I had no idea what sex was. On my 13th birthday a guy was at my party and took me to the woods and tried having sex with me. Well , to be honest i had my first kiss at t age of 21 . Now i am 22 . It was so amazing . My close friend of me kissed me in lips unexpectedly … I mean spontaneously . She then realised what she did . But then we kissed that day continuous for one hour … And i never let her to go beyond kissing ! Kissing for an hour is somethin so great ! Is it wierd ?

I am gonna be 22 soon and will be graduating out of college as an electrical engineer. I still haven’t had my first kiss. Women probably find me very ugly or repulsive… Oh well moving on. Not everyone is meant for a happy life. Some people are gonna have to “not live” to make other people’s lives better

I’m 20, bordering on 21 right now and I still haven’t had my first kiss either. Quite frankly I’ve stopped worrying about stuff like that, if that means I’ll stay single all my life, that’s fine with me.

got my first kiss at 11! sat in a tunnel under a bridge by a pub, and hit it on with my girlfriend reann. She keeps talking about the wedding. she wants to have a 10 second kss next time i see her, cant wait for that moment! i’m visiting her in august 2011 for that kiss. Her sister keeps following us and was a couple of feet away from where we kissed. we kissed on the lips, by the way. everytime i see her she flirts and hugs me.

I’m almost 13 and I have my first bf. I’ve known him since we were 9 so I know him really well and I think we’ve liked each other for a long time even tho now we r in different high schools. I see him a lot I guess and at a party the other night he asked me out I said yes except he expected a kiss. u ppl r totally crazy! idk if it’s the school i’m in or wether i just have a more normal brain but i didn’t even know what these things meant til i turned 13…and even then the only one i actually thought about doing was kissing and once that happened well i wanted to make out. but sex at 11?????? when i was 11 i hardly even knew the definition of the word! A i totally agree with u…now i’m only 14 idk what i will think later but seeing i learnt things this year that kids r learning and doing at 11 is scaring me…don’t wanna see the next generation of kids…

Don’t stress about it everything will happen when the time is right but trust me i know exactly how u feel! I’m 13 and i am dating a guy i really like…people say u don’t know what love is til a certain age but they r wrong u just have 2 be mature enough to feel it. I’ve kissed him and i know it only feels amazing cuz i like him so if u don’t have someone that special 2 u yet don’t worry about it cuz it will happen and it’s way better to wait for it than to rush into it!

meh I hate popular guys no matter how gorgeous….but that’s just me and the experience I’ve had with them! Well #1 if he keeps going through girlfriends it means he doesn’t rly like anyone he’s just kinda a jerk of a player who thinks having a girlfriend is cool but #2 if u do like him I think u should at least talk first before jumping 2 conclusions! Confused~ am 14 years old and I had the same problem… There was a guy I was really scared to talk to because he was really popular and I was not so much…. But this year he turned out to be in my science class sat at the table next to me. One day I worked up the courage to talk to him about somthing other than science and he turned out to be pretty cool. He never became my boyfriend but he is now one of my friends… So it can’t hurt to talk to him

I’m 14 going into highschool and all of my friends except one has kissed/made out with a guy. I don’t feel like I’m ready yet to make out with someone so I’m taking it slow. It makes me sad to think that girls so young as 12 are kissing. Your first kiss should be special because you love someone not because you want to fit in during middle school.
