I dreamed that I was ten years older, and getting ready to turn 49. I was standing in the bathroom looking in the mirror, and my face had all these lines in it...the ones around the mouth and above the eyes that women get from walking around all day with a bitter, angry look on their face. I woke up and realized that i would literally become that person if I didn't change my life. I went home, my ex and I separated, and six months after that, I was divorced. That was 2 years ago. I have never, not even for a second, regretted that decision. My marriage was killing me. The people I worry about are the ones who never have those "lightbulb" moments.
