    It’s Christmas doggone it! You can’t have Christmas without Christ; or actually, you can, but then you have only “mas” and who would want to celebrate “mas”? It would be almost like celebrating your ex-wife’s birthday — that bitch who cleaned you good in your divorce.

    Festivus comes on good second place though and what I’m hearing it’s catching up, so meanwhile…

    My family, though ostensibly Christian, has been celebrating Festivus for many years. There’s rarely a Christmas without a family fight or tears of some sort. This year was the exception with its lack of Springeresque drama.
