Street skating pretty much killed freestyle. And it happened to be a pretty sweet transition for Rodney. The boards are a lot smaller now which is what he is accustomed to. That guy is my age (35) and still fucks it up. Fucking prodigy paved the way for flip tricks. He grew up in Gainesville. I heard he was pretty dorky. But also extremely smart. I think he went to Princeton and got his degree in physics. A friend of mine went out with him for a little. She said he was a dork and always sent her skateboard decks. On another note.
