Thanks for the list and vote of confidence!! In the past few months I've found myself giving advice and then thinking how crazy it is that I was the one asking for all kinds of advice a year ago. I get a lot of hits from Google image even though I try to avoid them. I try to give my images strange names. These are not readers, they may raise your stats but what is the point of doing that?

That’s a great point. Blogsurfing without leaving comments or adding to your blogroll will only increase your hit count, not your readership. The best thing BlogMad can do is allow you to discover new sites and make new blog-friends. That’s how I found more than half of the sites on my blogroll.
