I’m Alive and I’m not in Jail
May. 11, 2007 by Jason
Maybe I was just being paranoid, but somehow I thought that the Malaysian airport security people would be able to see through my polite and quiet demeanor and realize I’m a scumbag. Either that or I’d be kidnapped. You know… because that kinda shit happens in this part of the world. I don’t want to say any more right now - they might be monitoring.
When I get back, I’ll tell you about the wonders of First Class travel. Seriously, you have no idea what goes on behind the blue curtain. And check out this swanky hotel.
Okay, I’m afraid I’ve said too much.

I almost forgot to pimp my shit. This one’s in Philly:

I must have missed a post. Did you go there for a vacation, or business?
I don’t think I would like to go there on purpose, out of fear of having my head chopped off.

hey there,
your hotel is close to a quite famous watering hole area: Rum Jungle, Beach Club, and something-or-another Thai, all along that one stretch of road, with quite a few other bars in between, have you checked them out?
No worries about the whole jail if you shake hands with a female: that’s putting it rather drastically, really, especially if you’re a foreigner and you’re in KL itself.
KL’s a lot of fun, I hope you get to explore its nooks and crannies and have a gala time. btw - what brings you to my (ex)-part of the world, anyway? I too must have missed a post (understandable for me, I haven’t dropped by for a little while, you can spank me later LoL!)

I guess I’ve been intentionally vague about why I’m here in KL. I hate to talk about work on this site, but I guess I can say I’m here for work.
It’s really a fantastic city. I do wish I had more time to look around a bit. I’ve been pretty busy since my arrival. Though I may have a chance to go out tonight.

jj,
No need to worry, if you went to jail i would come for conjugal visits.

I’ve always said traveling is risky business… especially, if your friends know airport security personnel and are famous of their pranks…
… then again, only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.
