I'm testing out an idea for a new recurring series here at The Churning. I absolutely detest mass marketed newspaper comic strips. So I'm going to vandalize them, one by one.
In today's episode, Iggy from the Mutts comic has transformed into a closeted gay dog named Faggy. He's angry and he's ready for his coming out party. Also - judging by the final frame, I think he might be into bestiality.
Garfield is so Terribly Depressing
Garfield, like nearly all newspaper comic strips, sucks donkey balls. The humor is watered down and tame. But someone recently discovered that if you take away the morbidly obese cat's thought bubbles, the result is an utterly depressing series about a man who has no self respect, talks only to his pets, and may be on the verge of suicide.
